This is a free, interactive music and poetry experience where the audience can collaboratively shape and original, site-specific composition. Poet Jean Dany Joachim moves through the gathering with theme-based prompts that speak personal storytelling and poetic expressions, while participants choose from a menu of sounds from live instruments or vocal styling. Musician Chibuzo Dunun captures and layers every contribution in real time using a loop station, building a living piece that reflects the voices and experiences of everyone present.

Rain date: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Cambridge Plays grant program. The purpose of Cambridge Plays is to encourage people to enjoy our vibrant commercial areas. The Community Development Department partners with local businesses and nonprofits to provide free outdoor activities across the city. For more information, visit: www.cambridgema.gov/plays.
