Description

Join us for the City of Cambridge's Fair Housing for All event on Saturday, April 27 at the Cambridge Senior Center. No registration required.

From 11-2:30 p.m., representatives from City departments, local organizations, and non-profits will be available to answer questions and provide resources related to fair and affordable housing in Cambridge, including:

  • Affordable housing programs
  • Homelessness, eviction, and foreclosure prevention services
  • Landlord / tenant mediation resources
  • Legal resources for housing in Cambridge
  • Enforcement of housing discrimination laws

At 11:30 a.m., join the Cambridge Human Rights Commission (CHRC), the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), and the Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services (CSLS) for an informative discussion about housing rights in Cambridge and statewide! Attendees will learn about what each agency does, learn about the different forms of housing discrimination, and learn about various outcomes of the complaint process. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the panel.
