How can design thinking and STEM innovation change our world? Join Design With Us and STEM on Stage for a STEAM-inspired evening with double short film screenings featuring pioneering innovators Jordan Reeves in Marvel's Hero Project and Humanity Needs Dreamers: A Visit With Marie Curie  — plus fun trivia with prizes and more! Registration is required.

The event starts with a special screening of Marvel's Hero Project, Episode One (22 mins) featuring teen innovator and disabilities advocate Jordan Reeves. Learn how disabilities can revolutionize design thinking — and how Jordan's quest to make design more inclusive led to the invention of Project Unicorn. Find out how Jordan inspires other kids and teens to use design to change their world including the new EpiArts Alliance featuring students with epilepsy who are using STEM to invent new solutions in the performing arts.

Followed by a screening of STEM on Stage's digital theater Humanity Needs Dreamers: A Visit WIth Marie Curie (42 mins). Pioneering the field of radioactivity, two-time Nobel Prize winning scientist Marie Skłodowska Curie changed the world with her discovery of two new elements  -- but almost never entered the laboratory. What if she could tell her story? Portrayed by living history scholar & engineer Susan Marie Frontczak, this inspiring 42 minute digital theater showing will be followed by interactive STEM trivia! Participants can win prizes including signed copies of Marvel's Hero Project Comic, Episode One and more!

Design With Us STEAM film & trivia night is hosted by Jordan Reeves, Co-Founder of Design WIth Us and STEM on Stage Co-Founder & filmmaker Jen Myronuk. Recommended for families and students, ages 9 & older.

This event is part of Cambridge Science Festival, a celebration showcasing the leading edge in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). A multifaceted, multicultral event, the Festival makes science accessible, interactive and fun, highlighting the impact of STEAM in all our lives.
