Description
This message is being sent on behalf of Colleen D’Alessandro, New England Regional Administrator, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
As part of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Community Engagement program, we have committed to meeting with the public to discuss the complexities of airspace and associated operations. We are hosting the "Boston Area Communities Public Information Workshop" conducted via Zoom on Wednesday, April 26th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Eastern Time.
This informational workshop will include discussion on the operations, challenges, and constraints in and around the airspace in the greater Boston area. Our panelists are representatives from the FAA, Massport (the operators of Boston Logan airport), airlines, and aviation industry spokespersons. In addition to the live Q&A segment, these panelists will discuss how we operate the airspace and provide a detailed explanation of key arrival and departure procedures.
A link to the pre-registration website has been provided below and is also available on our FAA Community Engagement Webpage. On the days of the workshop, participants will be able to view the program and submit questions via YouTube and Facebook Live. The FAA will also promote this broadly through our social media platforms.
