Description

Yes, every drop of Cambridge tap water at one point in time was part of Fresh Pond Reservoir.

Learn how the building on-site turns 8 to 14 million gallons of Fresh Pond into fresh drinking water every day.

You’ll have the chance to speak with water treatment staff, learn about the reservoirs by I-95, see the equipment in action and check out our water quality lab!

This program meets inside the main doors of the Cambridge Water Dept. building (facing the first parking lot). Open to all ages and the general public. Parking passes available.
