Harvard Book Store and the Cambridge Public Library welcomes writer, performer, and activist JACLYN FRIEDMAN for a discussion of her new co-edited anthology, Believe Me: How Trusting Women Can Change the World. She will be joined in conversation by contributor and Executive Director of the Victim Rights Law Center STACY MALONE.

Jaclyn Friedman's work has redefined the concepts of healthy sexuality and consent for an entire generation. A 10th anniversary edition of her seminal anthology Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and A World Without Rape is out this spring from Seal Press. Friedman is a popular speaker and opinion writer whose latest book is Unscrewed: Women, Sex, Power and How to Stop Letting the System Screw Us All. Friedman’s podcast, also called Unscrewed, was named a Best Sex Podcast by both Esquire and Marie Claire.

Stacy Malone, Esq. is the Executive Director of the Victim Rights Law Center and works out of the VRLC's Boston, MA office. Appointed Executive Director in 2010, Stacy oversees the organization’s strategic direction, four national programs, as well as the VRLC’s five offices in Massachusetts and Oregon. Her legal career has focused on working with young women, victims of violence, and those who have faced discrimination.
