By Order of Her Honor, Mayor E. Denise Simmons, acting in accordance with Chapter I, Section 3 of the Rules of the School Committee, there will be a Special Meeting of the School Committee on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Dr. Henrietta Attles Meeting Room, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, 459 Broadway, Cam-bridge for the purpose of appointing a new superintendent from the finalists. At the conclusion of the appointment, the Committee may convene in Executive Session for the purpose of discussing strategy for contract negotiations for with non-union personnel (Superintendent), as an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the strategy and negotiation position of the School Committee.

Individuals may sign up in advance to provide public comment for the October 6 Special Meeting: The sign-up window is Wednesday, October 1 through Monday, October 6 at 12:00 PM (by phone) and 4:30 PM (online).

Regular Meetings will be live-streamed at www.cpsd.us and broadcast on Cambridge Educational Access TV (CEATV) Channel 26, as usual.
