    • Summer Reading: Wee the People

      Online,

What are monuments for? Whose stories do they hold up for celebration? Whose stories do they erase or keep hidden? In this workshop, Wee explore what monuments mean and reimagine how they can celebrate values of community, equity, and justice. We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for a live program presented on Zoom. Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. Virtual Summer Reading Programs are free and open to the public and are not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others. Summer Reading is sponsored by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, East Cambridge Savings Bank, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
