    • Hive Safety Training and Badge Making

      Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      Are you interested in using The Hive? In this workshop you will learn about our makerspace, how to utilize the resources we offer and how to keep safe in The Hive. You will also create your Hive badge ID using our Glowforge laser cutter and learn how this piece of equipment cuts and engraves your own creations. Find out what you need to get started as a maker in The Hive here. Completion of Hive Safety Training is the entry point to making, innovating, and collaborating in this space. Makers must also sign The Hive User Agreement and Waivers.

    • LEAP Labs - Floating Wetlands

      Kendall/MIT Open Space, 292 Main Street

      Join the Charles River Conservancy and MIT Sea Grant for hands-on activities and take a walk to visit the floating wetland on the Charles. Microscopes, an engineering challenge, and more!

      Join the Community Development Department and the planning team for more Our Cambridge Street pop-up events to discuss ideas and recommendations (big and small) for Cambridge Street

    • Cambridge Plays at Linear Park

      Linear Park, located at the corner of Massachusetts Ave. and Cameron Ave.

      Join us on the dance floor as we celebrate the end of National Small Business Week with games, giveaways, and music from A Trike Called Funk.

    • Equipment and Studio Reservations (Main)

      Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      During this reservation period, anyone who has completed Hive training and is badged to use equipment or studio(s) can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Staff will assist participants as they are able.

    • Family Fun and Movement Event with Knucklebones (In-Person, Outside)

      Greene-Rose Heritage Park 155 Harvard Street, Cambridge, MA 02139

      Join Center for Families and Knucklebones for family games, movement, and fun!
