    • Outdoor Story Time (O'Connell)

    • Summer Reading: Crafternoon (Collins)

      Collins Branch, 64 Aberdeen Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138

      Visit the Collins Branch to make and take a hands-on project. Recommended for children ages 5-10 and their caregivers. No registration required. There will be four dates for Crafternoon with a different activity each time: Friday, July 15 at 2 p.m. - tissue paper flowers Friday, July 29 at 2 p.m. - suncatchers and scratch art Friday, August 12 at 2 p.m. - needlepoint Friday, August 26 at 2 p.m. - perler beads

    • Zing Laser Cutting 101 (Main)

      Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      Learn how to use our Epilog Zing—an industry-standard laser cutting machine. Complete this workshop to earn a badge for the Zing laser cutter. With a badge, you can reserve the Epilog Zing to use on our equipment booking page at designated times. Note: The Epilog Zing laser cutter and Glowforge laser cutter require separate trainings. You must participate in the Glowforge workshop in order to operate our Glowforge Pro laser cutter. You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.
