    • Morning Market: The Work of Women an Exhibition by Lori Lander

      "Morning Market: The Work of Women," by Cambridge atist Lori Lander, is a celebration of women at work in daily markets across several continents. This exhibition of 12 oil paintings will be on display at the Main Library, from October 15 through November 15. The opening reception will take place on Thursday, October 20, from 4-6 p.m. in the Community Room. Lander will give a lecture on Monday, November 7, from 5-6 p.m., in the Lecture Hall. Community members can engage with Landers' work at the Library during the dates and times listed here: Morning Market Viewing Times Cambridge Public Library 2022 - Google Docs.

    • Beginner ESOL Class (Central Square)

      Central Square Branch, 45 Pearl St., Cambridge, MA 02139

      Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Class. This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. For more information call Maria Balestrieri at 617-349-4013.

    • Veterans' Day Observance Event

      Cambridge Common, by Civil War monument located just outside of Harvard Square and bordered by Massachusetts Avenue, Garden Street and Waterhouse Street.

      Note: This year's observance activities will be held at Cambridge Common and Sheraton Commander.
