  Hive Safety Training (Main)

  Are you interested in using The Hive? In this workshop you will learn about our makerspace, how to utilize the resources we offer and how to keep safe in The Hive. Find out what you need to get started as a maker in The Hive here. Completion of Hive Safety Training is the entry point to making, innovating, and collaborating in this space. Makers must also sign The Hive User Agreement and Waivers.

  Isha Kriya at the Cambridge Public Library (Main)

  In this one-hour session, you will learn Isha Kriya, a simple 12-18 minute practice, to help you become meditative effortlessly. For beginners and experienced meditators alike! Daily practice of Isha Kriya meditation offers: 1. Enhanced Clarity 2. Improved health 3. Heightened focus and energy 4. Greater prosperity and a state of peacefulness and joy Note: While registration is preferred, it is not required. Walk-ins are welcome!

  During this reservation period, anyone who has completed Hive training and is badged to use equipment or studio(s) can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Staff will assist participants as they are able.

  Boston Festival Orchestra: The Power of Four (Main)

  Main Library, Lecture Hall, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

  The string quartet, comprising two violinists, one viola, and one cello, has been the foundation of classical chamber music for centuries. But how did we get there? And what is it about this particular instrumentation that is so special? To help answer these questions, carefully chosen selections of chamber music will be performed in chronological order by musicians of the Boston Festival Orchestra. Note: While registration is preferred, it is not required. Walk-ins are welcome!
