No two weeks are the same in nature, and Tim will share his insights about what's growing, changing, and blooming in the neighborhood. This walk is not on a paved path. We will walk on uneven terrain, down hills, and over roots.
Registration is required. This event can only accommodate a certain number of participants. One registration is good for one person. If you do not register, you cannot participate. Those on the waitlist will be contacted if a space becomes available.

This 13-week adventure invites you to dive into the world of self-driving cars, at the intersection of technology and innovation
Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that inspires high-potential, diverse young people to discover their passions, develop innovative mindsets and cultivate marketable skills to solve problems they care most about. Summer Studio teens are funded in part through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program. The Cambridge Public Library STEAM Academy is part of Cambridge STEAM Initiative's efforts to enhance and expand students’ access to quality STEAM learning experiences. Made possible by generous support from the Eric and Jane Nord Family Fund and Verizon.

Join NEEL MUKHERJEE, author of the Man Booker Prize-nominated novel The Lives of Others, for a reading from, and conversation about, his new novel Choice. A Professor of English at Harvard, Mukherjee has been called “one of the most original and talented authors working today” (NPR) and, in a pre-publication blurb, Tracy K. Smith called Choice “searing, poetic and beautifully brutal.” The novel is composed of three thematically linked sections, across which Mukherjee “showcases his ability to inhabit different perspectives” (Booklist).
This event will be moderated by GRACE TALUSAN, author of the award-winning memoir, The Body Papers.

Reading Interests: The group concentrates on science fiction and fantasy. An advanced reading schedule is published each fall. Example selections include: Neuromancer by William Gibson and The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.
Requirements: A love of speculative fiction and a desire to talk about books. The group is friendly and informal.
How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library Question and Answer desk on the ground floor. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy.
E-books and digital audiobooks are available on Libby or Hoopla.
