MassNotify is a tool that works through smartphones to alert users who may have been exposed to COVID-19. You can enable MassNotify on your iPhone or Android phone to help in the fight against COVID-19.

When you enable MassNotify, your phone will share anonymous codes with other MassNotify users. If a user you’ve been near tests positive for COVID-19 within a 14-day period, you will be notified. If you test positive, you can easily and anonymously notify others. This communication allows people to seek testing if they have potentially been exposed to COVID-19. For information about how to enable MassNotify, visit Enable MassNotify on your smartphone.

For more details about how MassNotify works, visit the Massachusetts Department of Public Health's website: Learn more about MassNotify.

MassNotify was developed with a focus on privacy; its codes contain no personal information or location data and are completely anonymous. You can review MassNotify’s privacy policy at MassNotify Privacy Policy.
