The Records Unit is a controlled public service area which stores all police records and reports and provides other valuable services to the community.

- Sign-off on One-Day Alcohol/Entertainment License and Hawker/Peddler License, both of which are issued by the City of Cambridge License Commission.

As with other units of the Cambridge Police Department, the Records Unit adheres to strict standards of confidentiality and strives to provide a professional and efficient service.

Appointments can be made online. Fingerprint services are available Mondays between 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Tuesdays-Thursdays between the hours of 2-4 p.m. by appointment only. For questions or further assistance, please call 617-349-3336 or e-mail.
