Apply for a Banner Permit

Electrical

The Electrical Department approves banner attachments to poles in the public way.

How to Start

  1. Fill out the Banner Permit Application and return it to the Electrical Department for review.
  2. Once the Electrical Department has reviewed and approved the attachment, the application, along with a letter of intent to the City Council, and the banner design, is sent to the City Clerk for inclusion in an upcoming City Council agenda.

Requirements

  • A $2,000 bond per pole must be posted with the City Clerk for the duration of the installation.
  • Police details are required
  • Installation and removal are to be performed by the applicant
