In observance of the Indigenous Peoples' Day holiday on Monday, October 12, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed, and payments will not be required at City of Cambridge parking meters and parking meter pay stations. The offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will be closed on the holiday, though the gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Curbside collection of trash, recycling, food waste, and yard waste will be one day behind schedule on that week. Street cleaning will be suspended for the holiday. Any streets normally swept on the second Monday of the month were done in advance on September 29.
