Short Description: Buy swimsuit dryers and new pool equipment for city-owned swimming pools. Equipment will include things like kickboards, flippers, and improved shower fixtures. This will make it safer, easier and more fun for all to enjoy our pools.
Long Description: Swimsuit dryers are super helpful for pool users to quickly dry their swimsuits. This means safer and less slippery floors. They also make it a cleaner, more comfortable experience to carry wet swimsuits. There will be 6 dryers purchased, with 3 of them going to Gold Star pool and 3 of them going to War Memorial pool.
The pools have equipment like kickboards, pull buoys, and flippers for swimmers, as well as shower fixtures that can all wear out. Buying new equipment is not often part of the pool budget. A portion of the money will be used to update the equipment to last for many more years!
The swimsuit dryers will help everyone more easily make swimming part of their day while the equipment will make the experience more fun for all!
