One-on-One Tech Help at O'Connell Library (Drop-In)
Looking for some basic computer or mobile device guidance? Want to learn how to access audiobooks and eBooks? Stop by at the O'Connell Library for our drop-in hours! Drop-in sessions will be limited to 30-minutes for each patron.
We can help you with:
accessing library eBooks, audiobooks, and other eResources on your devices
e-mail and searching the web
smartphone and mobile app questions
We are not able to help you with:
installing advanced software programs
completing online transactions for you
computer hardware and technical maintenance

Electrical Permits
An electrical permit is required for all work to be performed in accordance with the Massachusetts Electrical Code (MEC), 527 CMR 12.00.
Apply to DHSP Afterschool Lottery
The Dept. of Human Service Programs offers afterschool programs for Cambridge children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Open seats are filled by lottery.

Google Photos Basics (Main)
Learn how to use Google Photos to organize and save your photos and videos!
In the class, you will learn how to:
Store photos and videos
Organize and understand features of Google Photos
Share photos with friends and family
You will need a Google (Gmail) account for this class - please bring your login info! A laptop will be available for use during class.

New to Medicare Workshop (Main)
Led by a Minuteman Senior Services state-certified Medicare benefits counselor, this program is for people who are turning 65 or leaving an employer group health plan due to retirement. Topics include Medicare benefits and coverage gaps, when to apply for Medicare, how to apply for Medicare, health insurance plans that work with Medicare, understanding premiums, deductibles and maximum out of pocket costs, and choosing the right supplement plan. It also covers special considerations and the consequences of not enrolling at the right time.
Registration is requested but not required.
