Our Magic Tree House book group for kids ages 5-10 meets the first Friday of the month. Pick up a copy of the book beforehand. Our October book is Magic Tree House #2, "The Knight at Dawn." This event is onsite at O'Connell, with the option to attend virtually. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. Need a laptop or hotspot to participate? The Art Conservation Program at the Cambridge Arts Council is nationally known for its Pre-Fabrication Conservation Reviews, in which materials, fabrication methods, and installation plans are all considered before the art is made and placed on public view.

The climate is changing, and we're all here on the planet together. Join us for a monthly community gathering and discussion of a variety of books about climate change. The Cambridge Public Health Department and city partners are hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the Cambridge community on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS), 459 Broadway.

Let’s make our schools, libraries, and public buildings more accessible for all by adding automatic door openers to entries that are wheelchair accessible but lack this feature. The City will work with the Disabilities Commission to prioritize locations.
