Fossil Fuel Free Demonstration
Cambridge is participating in the Commonwealth's Fossil Fuel Free Demonstration Program. This page provides information about the program goals and the development of the ordinance.
Sewer
The Street and Sewer Maintenance Division maintains 244 miles of sewer and storm water pipelines, more than 4,500 catch basins, 84 sewer and storm water pumps, and 11 generators
Raymond Park
The City of Cambridge will renovate Raymond Park in Neighborhood Nine. The design and community engagement process will begin in early 2024, and construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.
2025 Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy Begins Its 7th Class
The seventh Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy began this week with 32 student officers, including ten new recruits for Cambridge. The Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy is a Massachusetts Police Training Council (MPTC) certified training academy for new student officers. Student officers are recruits from police departments across the region.
