Join us for live Folk Music with award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kim Moberg and enjoy classic folk songs, treasured favorites, and original music! Kim was born in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of a mother of Alaskan Native Tlingit descent and a US Coast Guard veteran father from Kansas. Her mission is to connect people in empathy and social consciousness through the storytelling power of Folk Music. Are you interested in viewing planets and identifying constellations? Ever wanted to take apart a telescope to see how it works? Join the Cambridge STEAM Initiative and other partners at the annual Community Astronomy Night event to explore the night sky, guided by high school interns from the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian Science Research Mentoring Program. Register by end of day on Thursday, March 5.

Add alternative spaces for teens and adults to exercise and relax outside! This project will include an outdoor fitness station to make exercise accessible for more residents and hammock poles for residents to unwind outside.

Improving the quality and equipment of the Moses Youth Center by adding new furniture, upgrading technology and modernizing sports equipment & supplies.

Kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade can come to the Library to create hand-made cards and wrapping paper using print-making techniques! Snacks provided. No registration necessary.

Handsewing For Mending will focus on hand sewing techniques that can be used to repair seams, hems, tears, and more. Participants will learn about tools and materials for hand sewing, a variety of stitches, and when to apply them to restore garments back to wearability. Registration is required.
