City of Cambridge ARPA Workshops 7-21-22 and 8-4-22

We will adapt the tale “The Little Red Hen” and perform our masterpiece for family and friends. Using mixed media, participants will create shoebox puppet theaters. This four-week puppetry workshop is for youth ages 9-12. We will meet on October 9, 16, 23, 30. No experience necessary! Registration is required. The program aims to highlight the success of Cambridge’s nightlife and entertainment industry.

Cambridge property owners or tenants can access technical and financial resources to renovate or restore commercial building exterior facades through the Storefront Improvement Program. The Program improves the physical appearance of independent businesses and enhances Cambridge's commercial districts.

Through this program, Electrify Cambridge will provide no-cost advising by technical specialists on all measures that can electrify a home or residential building. Those measures include heat pumps, solar panels, weatherization, water heaters, induction stoves, electric vehicle chargers, and more. Electrify Cambridge specialists will also help residents tap into all available state and federal incentives.

To ensure the safety of the public and City staff, in-person appointments at City buildings, including contactless holds pick-up at the Cambridge Public Library, will continue to be suspended until at least Monday, February 1, 2021 as well. While City buildings will remain closed to the public, City offices will be open, and many City services can be accessed online or over the telephone.
