Projects & Initiatives
The Capital Building Projects Department manages planning, design, and construction of a wide range and scale of projects across Cambridge's municipal building portfolio, including renovations and upgrades to Public Works facilities, youth centers, branch libraries, fire stations, and City offices.
Monthly Hypertension Walk-In Session
Take control of your high blood pressure and health: The Cambridge Public Health Department’s Healthy Eating and Active Living team is partnering with CHA’s Windsor Clinic to offer monthly walk-in education sessions on hypertension (high blood pressure) prevention and maintenance strategies.
Participatory Budgeting
Participatory Budgeting (PB) is a democratic process that empowers community members through civic engagement to decide how to spend part of a public budget. PB was first developed in Brazil in 1989 and is now used in over 1,500 cities around the world.
Craig Thompson Presents: Ginseng Roots: A Memoir (Main)
Harvard Book Store and the Cambridge Public Library welcome Craig Thompson—cartoonist and the author of the award-winning books Blankets, Carnet de Voyage, Good-bye Chunky Rice, and Habibi—for a discussion of his new memoir Ginseng Roots.

Live at the Library: Learn How to Play the Ukulele (O'Neill)
Julie Murray will teach the fundamentals of ukulele playing to children ages 8-12. No experience necessary. Ukuleles provided or bring your own. Please register in advance.
