The City of Cambridge and Cambridge Public Health Department (CPHD) will continue to offer free COVID-19 testing for Cambridge residents 4 days per week on with modified hours Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The site at 50 Church St. that previously offered testing will be discontinued beginning in June.

The Police Department is required by statute (M.G.L. c. 41, s 98F) to keep a public log of police responses and arrests. If you provide proof that the court docket has been sealed, our Legal Advisor will review the documentation and remove the log entry. Please send the proof to pio@cambridgepolice.org.

Several City departments are hosting holiday drives to collect gifts and toys for those less fortunate this season. There is a toy drive for families organized by Cambridge Public Schools and the Mayor's Office, a Toys for Tots by Cambridge Fire Department, Winter Gift Card Drive and Cambridge Police Department Collection for Seniors.

The City of Cambridge announced a new Electric Vehicle Charging Pilot Program that will allow charging of electric vehicles (“EV”) across City sidewalks. The new charging pilot program provides residents without driveway access the opportunity to charge EVs across the public sidewalk by applying for a new Across Sidewalk Electric Vehicle Charging permit.

No purchase is necessary to view the books; office copies of all the books are available for reference at the Commission library. The City of Cambridge, in partnership with Cambridge Public Schools, has released the Cambridge Out-of-School Time (OST) Expansion Study Report. The purpose of the study is to better understand the unmet need in Cambridge by fully examining the demand for afterschool seats and the current capacity to meet that demand.
