Kindergarten Card Party! (Main)
Party like you just got your first library card! Kindergartners and their grown-ups are invited to a special party! Drop in between 5:30 and 6:30pm to enjoy pizza, create a collaborative mural, and learn about all the fun things you can do with your new library card! Sixth Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy Graduates, Nine New Officers Join CPD
The Cambridge Police Department announced that 30 new police officers graduated on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from the sixth Cambridge-Northeastern Police Academy class following a special graduation ceremony that was held at Northeastern University. The graduating officers join their respective departments after successfully completing 23 weeks of training, which started in January 2024. The sixth class includes 9 new Cambridge Police officers
City of Cambridge Closures and Service Information for Independence Day Holiday Tuesday, July 4
City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday, and payments will not be required at parking meters and parking meter pay stations. The offices at Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, will also be closed on July 4, however, the cemetery gates will be open from 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Cambridge Affordable Housing Trust
The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. April's meeting, previously scheduled for April 23, will be held on April 30, 2026 at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackermann Room. Register to join the April 2026 Affordable Housing Trust meeting. The meeting agenda and meeting materials will be posted on the Affordable Housing Trust webpage.
