Meeting minutes of the Mid Cambridge Neighborhood Conservation District Commission held on January 4, 2021
First Half 2025 City Manager Update
City Manager Huang has provided a detailed first half 2025 overview, including background on federal challenges facing the City, Cambridge's transparent and accountable local democracy, affordable housing policy changes and investments, and Fiscal Year 2026 budget highlights. We encourage community members to learn more about the amazing work happening across the City and how we are managing many complex and difficult challenges as a community.
Ridesharing
Save time and money by sharing a ride. Besides splitting gas and parking costs, more people carpooling means fewer cars on the road, so you’ll get where you’re going faster.
Sidewalk Materials
Cambridge’s sidewalks are constructed of a mix of materials, primarily either concrete or brick.
Public Art Commemorating Local Cambridge Activism
Art honoring the 1971 action by Riverside neighborhood leaders including Black, Feminist, and LBTQ+ activists, who occupied the 888 Memorial Dr. building to demand affordable housing, slowing campus expansion & establishing a women’s center.
Digital Bike Counters with Open Data
What’s the impact of the new bike lanes in Cambridge? Let’s measure it! Three new bicycle counters will provide accurate counts of people passing on bicycle via in-ground loop detectors and digitally display how many people use bike lanes.
