The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) launched its "Fall on the Fields," a series of free, outdoor experiences for Cambridge JK-8th graders, from September 21-October 30, from 3-6 p.m. on weekdays, at Danehy Park, Rindge, Hoyt, Donnelly, and Sennott Fields.

Stop by the Cambridge Police Department Community Room for Halloween treats on Halloween, October 31, 2024, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Additionally, Cambridge Police Officers will be out in various areas of the city engaging with families in the community who are out trick or treating.

The Cambridge Police Department and Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement (MAWLE) will be holding a virtual recruiting information session on January 17th at 6 p.m. on Zoom that will be focused on supporting women in Cambridge who are interested in pursuing a career in policing.

During this reservation period, anyone who has completed Hive training and is certified to use equipment or studio(s) can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Staff will assist participants as they are able. Tool Reservations for this date will open two weeks prior, October 6 at 9am.

Visual artists working in all media are invited to apply to be part of Cambridge Arts' Holiday Art Market at 650 East Kendall Street, Cambridge, from Dec. 1 to 3, 2023, from noon to 6 p.m. each day. The event is presented in partnership with BioMed Realty Trust.
