Our community has experienced many impacts and hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has witnessed the resiliency and generosity of our city. In an effort to reflect on some of the most important events and milestones of the pandemic, we’ve created an interactive timeline to help remind us how far we’ve come.
Hiring Event for Summer Jobs
The Office of Workforce Development and the Job Connector at by MIT are hosting a job fair where attendees can learn about exciting part-time and full-time jobs working with children, teens, and young adults this summer.
CPD Assists with Multiple Graduations
It’s graduation season and over the past couple weeks CPD officers have been busy assisting with multiple commencement ceremonies and related celebrations.
Greene-Rose Heritage Park
Greene-Rose Heritage Park lies along Harvard Street near the intersection with Moore Street. There is also an access point from Broadway near the intersection with Windsor Street. The park was expanded and renovated in 2008 and now includes a children’s playground, water play area, open field, benches, landscaping and trees, and public art installations.
Law
The Law Department is responsible for providing legal representation and advice to the City and its officials in numerous areas of law.
Trolley Square Park
Trolley Square Park is approximately 3,600 square feet in size and located at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Cameron Avenue. The site is adjacent to the existing Linear Park, as well as housing, retail and community space.

Responsive and interactive versions of content typically featured in our CityView and The Cambridge Life print publications to share additional information, videos, and more. In time, digital versions of other City publications will be added as well.
Senior Center Programs
The Council on Aging (COA) works to promote and safeguard the health and independence of Cambridge seniors over the age of 60.
