Mid-Cambridge is one of Cambridge's largest neighborhoods, stretching from Central Square in the east to Harvard Square in the west and north to Inman Square and the Cambridge/Somerville border. The Capital Building Projects Department manages planning, design, and construction of a wide range and scale of projects across Cambridge's municipal building portfolio, including renovations and upgrades to Public Works facilities, youth centers, branch libraries, fire stations, and City offices.

Nine Cambridge cultural organizations have been awarded $81,000 in Organizational Investment Grants by Cambridge Arts and the City of Cambridge. The nonprofits are community art centers, associations and performance venues. They offer teaching and professional development, live music and dance, and broadcast cultural programming to diverse audiences. The funding program provides $9,000 grants to each nonprofit to support operational costs, sustainability, and resiliency for local cultural organizations that benefit Cambridge residents.

It's creepy crawly week at the Library! Families with elementary school-age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math.
