Summer Reading: Capoeira for Everyone with Mass Capoeira (Main)
Join us for a demonstration of capoeira, a unique Afro-Brazilian art form combining martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics. Following the performance, children will have the opportunity to learn basic capoeira movements. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers.

Summer Reading: Family Concert with Music at the Blissful (Collins)
Come join the fun as we sing, jump, shake and laugh with Music at The Blissful. Musician Evan Haller brings a high energy, fun filled, interactive, movement packed music experience for the whole family. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers.

CPL Adult Summer Camp: Plant Identification Nature Walk
Join us for one, two, or all CPL Adult Summer Camp activities to meet new people and have nostalgic fun outside in Cambridge!
Meet at Lechmere Station to admire and identify Cambridge trees, plants, and more using iNaturalist with your neighbors!
We will Walk through the Common at Cambridge Crossing into North Point Park.
In case of rain/high heat, this event will be postponed.

Residents Sought for Board Vacancy on Cambridge Human Rights Commission
Commissioners are expected to attend monthly meetings, participate in subcommittees on outreach and public education, and work with Commission staff on the investigation, mediation, and resolution of complaints filed with the Commission which allege discrimination in housing, public accommodations, employment or education based upon race, color, sex, age, religion, disability, national origin or ancestry, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, family status, military status or source of income.
Compostable Food Waste Bag Giveaway
The city is actively exploring new ways to make bags more accessible and affordable for residents. DPW will be handing out kitchen bins to residents new to the program and one roll of compostable bags to ongoing participants.
