The Community Development Department will hold an information and public comment session in preparation of the City’s FY2026 Annual Action Plan and FY2026-2030 Consolidated Plan. The LGBTQ+ Youth Celebration will be a fun and joyful event for all ages, families, and adults! Drag Queen Aurora will share their journey into drag and facilitate a discussion of queer experience and community celebration. There will also be a runway and folks are welcome to bring costumes or choose from our costume box. There will be snacks, music, and books about LGBTQ+ history!

The Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women works in an inclusive manner to promote equality and justice for women and girls and advocates on their behalf.

Cambridge Arts and the City of Cambridge are distributing grants totaling $260,961 to 53 artists and cultural organizations for fiscal year 2024 through three funding opportunities that Cambridge Arts offered last fall—including Art for Social Justice Grants, Local Cultural Council Grants, and Organizational Investment Grants.

Install chess tables in parks, city squares and near libraries to foster fresh-air, brain training, and diverse intergenerational community interaction through chess and other board games!

This program provides access to professional arts and culture events for Cambridge youth through Field Trip Grants and also supports individual artists and organizations through Project Grants.
