The Cambridge Human Rights Commission (CHRC) was established in 1984 to protect the civil rights of residents and visitors to the city.
Participatory Budgeting (PB) Delegate Orientation
During this PB Delegate Orientation, volunteer Cambridge residents will join the City's Budget Team in learning more about the PB Delegate role. The orientation will cover an overview of the PB proposal development process, volunteer responsibilities and time commitment, as well as an opportunity for volunteers to choose their Delegate Committees and meet fellow volunteers.

2020 City of Cambridge Resident Survey Results
Polity Research Consulting conducted a biennial survey of 400 adult residents of the City of Cambridge between Sept. 9-13, 2020. Affordable housing is still the number one issue facing residents (30%) -- and the top issue residents want the City to address. COVID-19 and education are also high on the issues list.
Contemporary Book Group (Main)

Reading Interests: The group concentrates on fiction and narrative nonfiction. Some past selections include: Colored Television by Danzy Senna, Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters, and Beautiful Country: A Memoir by Qian Julie Wang.
How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library Q&A Desk at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy.
