Orientation Workshop for Foreign-Trained Immigrants
This event is co-sponsored by the Commission on Immigrant Rights and Citizenship and the Department of Human Services Programs. We are working with Mass Hire and the African Bridge Network to provide Orientation Workshops for Foreign-Trained Professionals where recent skilled immigrants and refugees can connect with experts, peers, and career resources. These workshops will be hosted throughout the calendar year in Cambridge, Greater Boston, Worcester, Roxbury, Woburn, and North Shore.
Annual Commemoration of the Holocaust 2025
Recalling all who perished during the Holocaust, this year’s program features an evening of music, candle lighting, and remembrance with Holocaust Survivor Janet Applefield.

Pilot Program
CitySmart began as a pilot program to test how social marketing affects transportation choices. We hoped to shift approximately 10% of single-occupant vehicle trips to more sustainable modes, such as walking, bicycling and transit.
