You’ll learn the basics of using a Chromebook, including how to navigate the home screen, connect to Wi-Fi, use apps, browse the internet, and manage files. The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce the public launch of a tool we’ve been using internally to measure and improve how the City responds to SeeClickFix (311) service requests. The Cambridge 311 Performance Dashboard is our performance yardstick. It's the same tool our teams rely on every day to stay on track, and now we’re giving you access to it too.

In this hands-on session, you’ll dive into traditional techniques using hand-carved blocks as well as modern methods with laser engraving. You’ll sketch and carve a design on a rubber linocut block and then print it onto paper. There will also be a demo on how Laser Cutters can be used to engrave print blocks You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

Come find out! Kids are invited to explore making, copying, sharing, and swapping zines. Making zines will include activities like writing, drawing, and using a photocopier. For kids ages 7 and up. Snacks are provided!
