How to Cope with Holiday Stress and Depression
The winter holidays can be fun and joyful, but they are also stressful for many people. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by social obligations, gift buying, and extended time with family. For people who are depressed or grieving, the holidays can bring on intense feelings of loneliness, isolation, and sadness.
Household Waste Collection Day Saturday November 5
The last Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day of 2022 for residents only will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 50 Mooney Street. Please enter the event via Smith Place off of Concord Avenue. The City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) and Cambridge Police Department will be on site to assist with traffic.

Abuse Prevention Orders are more commonly known restraining orders (RO) and are available to protect a person who is in fear of physical abuse, experiencing physical abuse, and/or has been forced to engage in sexual relations by a current or former spouse, partner, family member, or live in roommate.
