Recent Mental Health Responses and Coordinated Approaches
Four notable public safety responses have occurred since Friday. Each response involved residents who were struggling with mental health issues. Three of the four involved residents were armed. Each situation was resolved peacefully without any injuries to anyone involved and the residents were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
Cambridge Program for Individuals with Special Needs
The Cambridge Program serves people with intellectual disabilitis who are 11 years old and older. The program offers recreational activities and life skills several times a week that are designed to promote self-esteem, encourage social interaction, and increase physical well-being.
2021-2022 Grant Recipients
Art for Social Justice Grants, Organizational Investment Grants, and Local Cultural Council Grants totaling $299,350 are being awarded.
Neighborhood Nine Neighborhood Study
1996 recommendations from study committee composed of neighborhood residents working with CDD staff covering housing, land use and zoning, urban design, transportation, open space, institutional uses, and economic development.
