Montgomery—a writer, science communicator, and plant biologist—for a wide-ranging discussion of her new book, When Trees Testify: Science, Wisdom, History, and America’s Black Botanical Legacy. The event will be moderated by Tracy K. Smith, a two-term U.S. Poet Laureate and the Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory at Harvard University. Registration is required. This event is cosponsored by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation and Sustainable Cambridge.
