In this class, we'll take a friendly, no-pressure look at how artificial intelligence is being used to create fake photos, videos, and even cloned voices, and how scammers use these tools to trick people. We'll talk about real examples you may have seen in the news, learn some simple tips for spotting when something's not quite right, and share trustworthy tools and websites you can use to double-check information before you trust it, or share it with family and friends. You don't need any tech background to join us. Just bring your questions and your curiosity, we'll walk through everything together, step by step. This class is a part of the AARP curriculum. The City of Cambridge and its municipal partners of Boston, Brookline, Everett, and Somerville are offering all hospital staff a free 30-day pass for our public bike share, Bluebikes.

This new City program provides no-cost support to Cambridge businesses, non-profits, and owners of commercial and large residential buildings that are interested in installing solar on their roof.

Linear Park, located in North Cambridge between Alewife Station and the Cambridge-Somerville city line, is a popular open space corridor for commuting and recreation. Linear Park between the Russell Field Fieldhouse and the Cambridge-Somerville city line are scheduled for reconstruction beginning in September 2025. The City of Cambridge is seeking to fill vacancies on the Cambridge Conservation Commission and Commission on the Status of Women. Applications for both Commissions are due on January 9.

This event is canceled. We have rescheduled the program for Saturday, August 15 (link). Delve into the wonders of the natural world. Attendees will learn about different types of animal homes and use them to inspire their own creation. Recommended for ages 8-13. This program can accommodate 12 people.
