The Community Development Department is working on a set of citywide design guidelines to meet our vision for a beautiful, sustainable, and equitable Cambridge.
Mass Ave - Dudley St to Alewife Brook Pkwy
Through this quick-build project, we will install separated bike lanes on Massachusetts Ave between Dudley St. and Alewife Brook Pkwy. Our toolbox includes pavement markings, signs, and flex posts. The project will also consider methods to improve bus reliability, such as dedicated lanes.

June 19-22 Traffic Impacts
The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the week due to several community events. These include the Juneteenth Parade and Celebration, Saint Anthony Feast, Cambridge Arts River Festival, Hoops ‘N’ Health (rescheduled from last week), Cambridge Refugee Food Festival, and the Boston 10K.
