It's a weekly block party! Join friends to design and build amazing LEGO structures. Let your imagination run wild! For children ages 5 and up (children under age 7 must be accompanied by a caregiver).
The Children's Room has plenty of LEGO pieces, so you don't need to bring your own. LEGO pieces are choking hazards for young children. This program can accommodate 30 builders. . Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. This program starts promptly and any unclaimed seats will be offered to someone waiting. [CANCELLED] Read to a Dog (Valente)
Read to Dante, our local cuddly therapy dog! Trained therapy dogs provide warm and non-judgmental reading companions for new or experienced readers up to age 14. Registration for each 15-minute time slot is required and begins on Wednesday, April 29 by calling or visiting the Valente Branch (617-349-4015).

Speed Hump Program
The City of Cambridge is expanding its traffic calming program by adding speed humps on primarily residential streets to help manage vehicle speeds and improve safety for all.
MassDOT Advisory: Cambridge Somerville Sidewalk Closures Along Route 28 (McGrath Highway)
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that daytime concrete sidewalk repairs are taking place on Route 28 (McGrath Highway) northbound between Third Street and Rufo Road. Pedestrian detours started on September 30 and will remain in place at all times for approximately three weeks. During this time, the outbound bus stop opposite Twin City Plaza will be relocated to 201 Monsignor O’Brien Highway, just south of Third Street.
