Expressive Art for Older Adults: Beading Workshop (Main}
Learn the basics of beaded jewelry making and the difference between semi-precious stones and precious stones. Participants will keep all pieces they make.
This will be an in-person program at the Main Library - Rossi Room. Space is limited to 10 participants.

Banned Books All-Ages Storytime and Book Picnic (Central Square)
Join the Library, the Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commission, and YWCA Cambridge at the Central Square Branch to celebrate Banned Books Week. We'll have an all-ages storytime featuring challenged children’s books followed by a sampling of many frequently challenged and banned titles for all ages. Light refreshments.
MCBA Book Group (Central Square)
Did you know you can vote for a winner in the Massachusetts Children's Book Award each year? Join us the 1st Wednesday of each month as we read and discuss some of the MCBA nominated books. Cast your vote for your favorite nominated title, right here at the library. This program is for kids in 4th, 5th and 6th grade (or equivalent ages). Registration is required. Trick or Treat on City Hall Lawn
Put on your best costume and join the Mayor’s Office, the City Manager’s Office, Cambridge Police, Cambridge Fire, and other City Departments for treats and Halloween Fun.
