Meeting minutes of the Mid Cambridge Neighborhood Conservation District Commission meeting held January 4th, 2016

Cambridge seeks to build a community where equity is the foundation and inclusion is represented in our intentional actions.

This class is temporarily being held at the Main Library while the Valente Branch Library is closed. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call Maria Balestrieri at 617-349-4013.

We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for 20-25 minutes of fun and scary songs and stories for a late October treat! Feel free to wear your favorite cozy pajamas or a scary or fun costume! Pajama Story Time is presented by the Cambridge Public Library and the Center for Families.

The Office of Workforce Development offers a variety of programs to help residents ages 18 and older gain job experience and develop professional skillsets. OWD also provides career counseling, and job search supprt. Staff also facilitate job fairs and hiring events several times of year to connect Cambridge residents to the city's vibrant economy.

People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. Food will be provided. This month we will read and discuss Words with Wings and Magic Things by Matthew Burgess. Copies are available at the O'Neill Branch. This book group will meet in person at the O'Neill Branch Library. Please register below.
