2024-2025 Grant Recipients
Overall Cambridge Arts and the City are distributing more than $300,000 to 60 artists, cultural organizations and grant reviewers via grants and stipends this year through three funding opportunities offered by Cambridge Arts: Organizational Investment Grants, Art for Social Justice Grants, and Local Cultural Council Project Grants.
Traffic Board
Hold a public hearing upon petition of 50 registered voters relative to any rule or regulation proposed to be adopted, altered or repealed and not yet in effect and approve or disapprove the proposed action.
Clean Up Cambridge
This project will upgrade existing trash barrels and recycling containers. This will keep the streets clean, prevent pests from being drawn to waste bins, and make it easier to properly dispose of different kinds of waste.
Pop-Up Recycle Event
The Department of Public Works (DPW) is launching a 3-year pilot program to host pop-up events in different neighborhoods to help residents divert batteries, e-waste, and other hard-to-recycle items from landfills.
Reaching All Youth Committee
RAY brings together teen serving agencies in Cambridge - including schools, City departments and community partners - to share information, coordinate efforts, and collaborate on initiatives in order to best serve the young people of Cambridge.
Start a Career as an Early Childhood Educator
The Early Childhood Education Career Training Program is recruiting participants for its 2025-2026 cycle. This free program provides training and job experience for people who want to start a career as an early childhood educator.
Terrain OBJ
This terrain model is useful as a visual reference for the terrain surface as it relates to buildings, roads and sidewalks. It can be used as a setting and an initial condition for detailed design studies.
