6 - Mid-Cambridge
Mid-Cambridge is one of Cambridge's largest neighborhoods, stretching from Central Square in the east to Harvard Square in the west and north to Inman Square and the Cambridge/Somerville border. It is predominantly residential but also includes parts of the Harvard University campus, Cambridge and Youville Hospitals, and the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School.

Proposed Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance that were not adopted, either due to being placed on file because the time period for consideration had expired, or due to failure to receive the necessary votes on consideration by the City Council.
DPW Announces Draft Strategies from updated Zero Waste Master Plan
On October 22, the Department of Public Works (DPW) presented nine strategies to City Council’s Health & Environment Committee on draft changes to improve on the City’s waste programs. The draft strategies are part of the City’s updated Zero Waste Master Plan (ZWMP), and the City seeks feedback from all Cambridge stakeholders by November 30, 2024.
Cambridge Affordable Housing Trust
The Affordable Housing Trust will hold its monthly meeting in-person and via Zoom webinar. September's meeting will be held at City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Ave, in the Ackerman Room. Register to join the September 2024 Affordable Housing Trust meeting.

Valente Branch Book Group (Valente)
Join the Valente Branch for their new book group! This group will meet monthly to discuss a mix of fiction and nonfiction books. The June selection will be The Skin and Its Girl by Sarah Cypher.
