The City of Cambridge is offering four new affordable condominiums for sale to income-eligible first-time homebuyers through a lottery process. These affordable condos are located at The Pathmark, 97 Elmwood Street in North Cambridge near Davis Square.

The Cambridge Public Health Department will be handing out free Narcan, test strips, CPR face shields, and other harm reduction materials at the Central Square Branch of the Cambridge Public Library on Dec. 9 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Join us for a morning walk at one of the most renowned birdwatching spots in Cambridge, Mount Auburn Cemetery! We will help you identify birds, learn birdwatching tips and tricks, and familiarize yourself with migratory birds as well as those that can be spotted all year round. A limited supply of binoculars will be available. The walk will meet at the Bird Sighting Board near the front entrance of Mt. Auburn Cemetery at 10:15 am. Registration is required. This event can only accommodate a certain number of participants. One registration is good for one person. If you do not register, you cannot participate. Community meeting notice for Mass Ave Planning Study - A Focus on North Mass Ave. This is the first meeting for this study area which includes Porter Square. We will be presenting initial observations and developing goals and a vision for this area.

The final Alewife Rezoning creates the framework for a multimodal, resilient, and sustainable neighborhood with strong community amenities. The adopted zoning increases the number of new homes that can be built and requires housing to be built along with new commercial buildings.

Come join us at the Boudreau branch for a chess challenge. Players of all skill levels and all ages are welcome to participate. Chess sets will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. This is not an instructional class, but rather a gathering for individuals who want to play and test their skills against other members of the community.
