Loop Lab
The Loop Lab aims to increase career opportunities for people in Cambridge's Port neighborhood and strengthen the community.
Reduce and Reuse
“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” is in order of importance. It is better to reduce than reuse; better to reuse than recycle.
Reducing and reusing prevent the environmental impact of making new items. All disposal has financial costs to the city. Recycling and composting cost the City less than trash. Still, preventing waste in the first place is best for Cambridge and the environment. It is one of the key recommendations in the Cambridge Zero Waste Master Plan.
October is National Women's Business Month
The City is celebrating National Women's Business Month this October to recognize the importance of women-owned businesses and to highlight the women entrepreneurs in the local Cambridge economy.
Add Color to Our Youth Centers
Paint the youth buildings in Cambridge with colors and patterns. Students and families from each youth center would participate in deciding the colors/design for each building and help with the painting to increase community involvement.
