Cambridge Police Department Members Recognized by US Attorney’s Office for Outstanding Collaboration
Cambridge Police Detective Lester Sullivan, Detective Matthew Grassi, Lieutenant Thomas Ahern (Ret.), and Forensic Identification Specialist Brooke Miller received the Outstanding Collaboration Award at the 2024 Law Enforcement Award Ceremony in Boston. Each year, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts hosts a ceremony to recognize outstanding public service by the agents, officers, and community leaders with whom they work alongside.
Building Permits
Anyone seeking to construct, alter, repair, or demolish a structure must first obtain a building permit. The building permit must be obtained before the start of any work and prominently posted at the job site.
Climate Action Plan
The Climate Action Plan describes how Cambridge will reduce emissions across the entire city to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
Kids' Books for Everyone (O'Neill)
People of all ages who enjoy children's books can read and discuss together. Food will be provided. In February we will read and discuss Atana and the Firebird by Vivan Zhou. Copies of the book will be available at the Boudreau Branch, Collins Branch and the O'Neill Branch after it re-opens.
