The Department of Public Works and the City's Community Development Department will be hosting an on-site Community Meeting on Wednesday, June 4 from 4-6 p.m. Anyone interested in attending can meet project staff at the corner of Chetwynd Road and Newell Street to discuss the Chetwynd Road Reconstruction Project.

Two community workshops, led by Professor of Dance Christine Bennett, will involve movement as a path toward understanding and resiliency in our own bodies and community spaces. The workshops are appropriate for all movers ages 18 and up. Register for one or both workshops.

Experience the joy of Hip Hop Xpression with Jarell Howard Rochelle in this fun, high-energy program for kids and teens. Participants will learn simple choreography, explore freestyle movement, and be introduced to authentic hip hop terminology and culture. This interactive class emphasizes connection, creativity, and self-expression, while celebrating the spirit of hip-hop. No prior dance experience is needed — just come ready to move, laugh, and have fun together. Families and youth of all ages are welcome. Funding for Vacation Week Programming: Live at the Library has been generously provided by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation. The City of Cambridge announced today that it will remain at Phase IV, Step 1 of the Commonwealth’s Reopening Plan and will not advance past Phase IV, Step 1 on May 10, 2021. The City reminds residents and visitors that masks may only be removed outside when 6 foot social distancing is possible.

The Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Alumni Photo Show is a collection of work produced by photographers after their time in the Rindge darkrooms. In examining their expanding worlds through captured still images, CRLS alumni photographers apply a Cambridge-eye view to the world around them. Artist Reception: July 21 6-8 pm

Looking for a space to unleash your creativity? Join instructor Marguerite White, Wednesday afternoons March 5 through April 30 (No group on April 2), for two hours each week to work on a drawing or watercolor project of your choice.
