The annual Scholarship Fund, now in its 31st year, provides financial assistance to college-bound high school seniors and other Cambridge residents who wish to pursue post-secondary education.

This Senior Citizens Town Hall is part of the ongoing commitment of the Cambridge Mayor, the City Manager, and the Council on Aging to address the needs and concerns of Cambridge’s senior residents.

City of Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and City Manager Louis A. DePasquale are pleased to announce that the City Manager has appointed a COVID-19 Expert Advisory Panel (EAP), a group of medical and subject matter experts that will support the City’s COVID-19 planning and response efforts.

The City of Cambridge announced that it has rescinded its Amended Temporary Emergency Construction Order issued on June 22, 2020. Effective May 10, 2021, all construction in the city shall comply with the City of Cambridge Face Coverings Order, all applicable Commonwealth Mandatory Safety Standards for Workplaces, and the protocols for Sectors Not Otherwise Addressed.

A new City park will be developed at 322 Binney Street in the East Cambridge neighborhood.

The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans Services will host a Veterans Day Observance event, with a ceremony at the Cambridge Common at 11 a.m., followed by an informal gathering and luncheon at the Sheraton Commander from 12-4 p.m.

Building on the City of Cambridge's commitment to reducing barriers and working with more diverse business owners, the City has completed its first ever Disparity Study focused on the procurement of goods and services.

Sayah announced an Emergency Order “Establishing a Moratorium on Eviction Enforcement and Non-Essential Entry by Property Owners and Their Agents Into Occupied Dwelling Units in the City of Cambridge” for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
